WINDING UNIT COMPUTER & CLEARER CARD exchange information in terms of
software codes.
Starting from the first event to last event i.e. from fresh cone to the finished cone
Software codes & their sequence of different events such as,
· Initial parameter settings of Informator as well as Loepef’s control box & their software codes
· Input signal’s codes from sensor & it’s sequence
· Codes during splicing cycle & it’s sequence
· Codes during all types of fault cut & it’s sequence
· Codes during Doff over & it’s sequence
2 What is the Clearer center (in machine frame)?
3 From where Evaluation circuit (CLEARER) receives supply? How many different
Power supplies are used in CLEARER? Details about type of connectors used, potentials on
each pin? Power supplies current & voltage rating?
4. Details such as cable wiring between schlafhorst’s informator & its WINDING UNIT
COMPUTER
5 Since all the winding parameters are transmitted by INFORMATOR to the WINDING UNIT
COMPUTER.
Means of communication between these two. i.e. through RS-232, RS-485 or some other way?
Software codes corresponding to different winding parameters & at which baud rate codes
are transmit/receive? Connector (terminal) pins used for this communication.

IMPSP- Pulse interlock-clearer
STR-R- transfer signal – clearer
Significance of above signals. What purpose they serve?

serially from WINDING UNIT COMPUTER
In which sequence above information (software codes) are received from WINDING UNIT
COMPUTER to CLEARER. Whether Software codes are in BYTE (8 bit) or WORD (16 bit)

Details about those winding parameters & their corresponding software codes
8. EYC curve setting sent by whom?
9 CLEARER send this 5 signal’s software codes serially to WINDING UNIT COMPUTER
DIS- Thick place cut signal
DUS- Thin place cut signal
DOS-Double end cut signal
SFS- static yarn signal
DFS- dynamic yarn signal
So the software codes for above signals & their sequence & their format BYTE(8 bit) or
WORD (16 bit)?
10. Frequency (clock) of MICROPROCESSOR for code execution in WINDING UNIT
